These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MovieknurD web application, website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by MovieknurD ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Age Requirement & Alcohol Disclaimer
MovieknurD is a companion app for social movie-watching activities that may involve alcohol. You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21 years or older in the United States, 18 or older in most other countries) to use features involving alcohol consumption.
MovieknurD does not encourage or promote irresponsible alcohol consumption. Always drink responsibly. Never drink and drive. Designated drivers and non-drinkers are always welcome to play along without consuming alcohol.
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
MovieknurD provides a synchronized activity companion for movies. The Service offers curated activity packs with timed triggers that align with specific moments in films. Users are responsible for obtaining lawful access to any movies they watch (through a streaming service, physical media, or other licensed source). We do not host or distribute any movie content.
To access certain features, you must sign in using a supported authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or harmfully.

All content on the Service, including activity packs, trigger text, design, graphics, and code, is owned by MovieknurD or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Movie titles, posters, and related metadata are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) under their usage terms.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MOVIEKNURD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in North Carolina.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
